My, how time has flew!  Still haven't updated on my Cancun trip yet..haha.  Left Parkland at the end of June, so I got nothing but freee time now until school starts!  It feels weird not having to worry about when you are scheduled to work next...

Anyway...let's explore Cancun!

The Hilton..luxurious!  No more cheap hotels for me it seems like..hah.  It wasn't really "peak" season yet, so the hotel was actually pretty...empty.  About 30% occup.  Guess ppl were freaking out about the swine flu...but we got a GREAT deal b/c of it tho!

Woke up to this every morning..

Awesome beach.  This is the kinda beach you want on vacation.  Water wasn't FREEZING like in San Diego.  Sand was soft, only negative was that the waves were kinda scary.  I swam in it, but you wouldn't want to stay in the waters for too long if ya know what I mean.

BIG BIG negative about Cancun are the food prices.  RI-DUC-U-LAS!  Too Americanized for my taste personally..I'm a borderline-3rd-world-country type of guy.  I want to live like a king on vacay..

5 days 4 nights...relaxing and chilling by the beach.  Exactly the type of vacation I was wanting from this.  Would I do it again?  Hmm, for the beach...maybe.  I LOVE exploring/walking downtown in the Mexican cities I visit, but Cancun's downtown was..blah.  Didn't feel "authentic.."  And don't get my started on the food prices again...haha.  So, I guess my vote would be a no.  Liked Puerto Vallarta more for above reasons...If only we could switch the beaches..

Next up, Europe!!

Just got back from Cancun, what wonderful beaches I swear!  Pictures will be posted as soon as I can get them from Apple..Vacation time is over, for now.  2 more weeks of work, then I'm freeeeeeeeee till school starts!

Facebook has currently overtaken Xanga, but I must not abandon thee.  I dunno how many ppl read this, but this is like my personal journal, which I originally started as a way to look back and reminisce.  Sooo, I will continue to blog, damnit, even tho some of these pics/events are a couple days/week old..haha.  =-D

It was my first trip to Vegas, and I brought the whole unit with me.  Plus my g/f.  Well, not the entire unit, but 11 of them.  Honestly didn't know what was going to be in store for us.  I'm sure all of us were nervous about how everyone was going to get along, who was gonna hang out with who, etc etc.

But after all was said and done, I really didn't expect us to have such a great time.  I had high expectations, but WOW!  We partied soo hard, and it was awesome!  It's nice chilling with ppl outside of the work environment.  Got plenty of pics, so I gotta be alil selective...

Usually don't do 5 star hotels, but you gotta do it big in Vegas.  The Belliago...Room was nice, not as nice as the room we had in Mexico tho.  Bathroom was sweeet.  Hotel itself was luxuriousss!

It's been awhile since I've taken a picture of food.  Nothing has ever been sooo worthy than the steak I had at Mon Ami.  Pounded to make it fork-tender..just wow.  I would fly back to Vegas just to go eat here again..

After dinner, heading to Club Pure for bottle service...Def. the way to go.  We had VIP entrance (no waiting in long lines, got very envious stares from ppl, it was greattt), our own table, our own liquor and mixers for drinks..

Last night out...Got a limooo ride to..the...titty..bar...*gasp*  Yes, Lanika and Sarah went with us..No more pictures were taken after this. Lol.  I'll let your imagination take over.  We ended up getting bottle service there with our own VIP table/couch area.  Didn't leave til 5 am.  Safe to say we did it big that last night. 

That's all I got baby!  Vegas was fun..It's been awhile since I've drank that much tho.  Need to give my liver a break...Didn't gamble a whole lot.  Actually spent less money gambling than I had expected.  But all in all, I would go back.  Dunno if I could ball like I did all the time, but I don't regret a single dollar I spent on this vacation.  If you go, hit me up, take me with!  =-D

Recent news..

The g/f decided to come along with us to Vegas with my coworkers, despite all of her bitterness..haha.  Told her I would pay for everything..and she took me up on my offer.  Damn.  Lol...Still need to pack.  Dunno what to wear..

Sister got into nursing school in Houston.  Kudos sis!  Brother has a year left of nursing school.  *Sigh*  Siblings following in my footsteps...And I'll be heading back in August.  Weird series of events huh?

Ever been paintballing?  Good god, it is a BLAST!!  Set up a thing with a bunch of my coworkers, and we set up shop for 4 hours!

Actually, it's Apple's brother's, but I've been playing with it around the neighborhood.  The worst patients we get at work are, no doubt, motorcycle collisions.  Everything tells me not to do it..  And to be quite honest, I'm scared shitless when I hop onto it.  It's a healthy fear to have, but riding it is pretty thrilling.  I think I want one...

Didn't go to the wedding, but the reception was cool.  Food was good, and they kept things pretty traditional.  They actually separated the males and females after everyone ate.  Soooo all the gals danced together in one room, and all the guys, well, we just sat there.  Dancing with other guys is a big knock on your manhood if ya know what I mean..
